Heather Carulli and her husband moved to Kyneton after the second Melbourne lockdown in July 2020 and she opened her clothing shop, Love Spell, in the township within six months of the move. She believes that Kyneton has the best of both city and country, which is also part of the philosophy behind opening her own store in the regional town.
Heather says, “I really wanted to give the community a taste of the city without having to travel back to the CBD. Today we have a fab mix of local clientele and our Melbourne guests who have shown continuous support.”
Heather believes Kyneton offers everything you could want in a weekend away. There are cosy weekenders where you can cuddle up in front of the fireplace with some local wine or gin from one of the region’s many distilleries. The town has many beautiful galleries and antique stores to wander through for a unique treasure. The Macedon Ranges also has glorious natural landmarks which are perfect for a picnic or hike.
Or perhaps visitors may decide like Heather herself to make a permanent move to more. “Why wouldn’t you want to live here?” she says. “We have always loved Kyneton and all it has to offer: beautifully curated boutiques, fine dining, the landscape, (botanical gardens and riverwalk), and of course the stunning blue stone historic homes and beautiful properties. Moving from the inner city. . .just made sense”.
Come and say hello to Heather when you are next in Kyneton and check out the fabulous fashion in store.
